ABOUT
Welcome to Scuderia Parravano. Much has been written over the years about my father, Tony Parravano, and his contemporary race team owners and drivers.

In 1997, I had the benefit of being asked to co-author the book, “American Sports Car Racing in the 1950’s” together with Michael Lynch and Bill Edgar. Their knowledge and research helped me to better understand my father’s impact on the sport, as I was a young boy during those exciting times. I have also relived that era through my family’s recollections and archives of photos, film, newspaper clippings, racing magazine articles, and more.

The purpose and intent of this website is to share this history with all those who appreciate the pioneering efforts in developing American road racing to where it is today. This site is dedicated to the memories of my father, Tony, my mother, Valia, my brother, Albertino, and my uncle, Curt Lappen, and finally Michael Lynch.
